officium is a site where issues affecting crime victims can decide
where to get effective information, whether you are working with people
affected by violent crime, or directly affected. The chat forums encourage
this further.
officium is about empowering victimised individuals to cope with
an unfortunately common attitude of remoteness and cynicism from many
public services. This site wishes to encourage debate for greater choice
of services; political policy and action, multi-agency partnerships and
support for people.
officium will periodically be updated, as will my handbook, to
include additional agencies of excellence.
