Our service is known for its high quality; caring and specialist professional approach and we accept referrals from all over the UK and overseas. The Oxford Stress and Trauma Centre is the longest-established independent, private, non-NHS-based, psychological therapy service in Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.

We offer specialist assessment, therapy, training and consultancy for stress and trauma-related problems. The approach is based on principles of Positive Psychology, which values each person as a unique human being and aims to enable each client’s individual journey of personal growth, inner strength, integration and well-being.

We help people who suffer from the effects of any type of trauma, including acts of human violence, crime, terror, torture, combat stress, hostage taking, domestic violence, as well as, complex trauma, caused by various forms of childhood abuse, including ritual abuse and attachment.

Escaping Victimhood
UK


Escaping Victimhood makes sure that victims of serious crime have their story heard, to be validated and respected. We make this possible with a brief intervention and start the process towards recovery of the past self.

Through our work many people bereaved by homicide have been able to come to terms with their loss and helped to see they can choose to live their lives as they wish rather than be dominated by their painful experience. These are the people who are the forgotten crime victims in our society.

CTC Psychological Services North-west England - UK

CTC is a well established psychological service with over twenty years of experience. Our Centre is a well-regarded referral point, accepting referrals from all over the UK, overseas, and provides psychological assessment, expert witness, therapy, training and consultancy services. We specialise in assessment and therapeutic intervention for PTSD. We also have a team of psychologists, therapists and counsellors who are available for therapeutic work should it be required.  Referrals are received from the general public, Solicitors, Social Services Departments, General Practitioners, medical insurance companies, the National Health Service, Probation and Police Services.
