The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) is the leading national charity for spinal cord injured people and all those concerned with their well-being. Established in 1974 SIA offers information, advice and on-going support to spinal cord injured people, including those who have become SCI as a result of a violent crime. The creation of the SIA itself was a statement of intent, that things must change for the better concerning the services and support spinal cord injuries (SCI) people receive, awareness about the condition and the need to improve the environment for those with a post SCI. read more |
