At CHILDREN 1ST our vision is a happy, healthy, safe and secure childhood for every child and young person in Scotland. Throughout Scotland our staff and volunteers help children overcome difficulties in their lives and rebuild trust and confidence.

We have 125 years experience of working with children and families, previously as the Royal Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Today, we support families under stress, protect children from harm and neglect, help them to recover from abuse and promote children's rights and interests.

CHILDREN 1ST provides a range of national and local services for vulnerable children and young people aged 0-19 years.  Our services are child-centred and both support and empower families to do their best for children and young people.
